Systematics and phyloinformatics of Perenniporia

Perenniporia Murrill is a cosmopolitan polypore genus; many new species were described in or transferred to the genus in the last twenty years. Around 100 species were recorded in this genus worldwide, among them around 30 species have been found in China. Taxonomy and phylogeny on Chinese Perenniporia were not well done in the previous studies, and it is important to know the species diversity and relationships among these species. (2020-1-10)

Tyromyces P. Karst. is a cosmopolitan polypore genus, and many species were transferred to the genus during the last 50 years, resulting in the concept of this genus gradually expanded. Ceriporiopsis Domański is similar to Tyromyces in morphology, but both genera are not closely related in phylogenetic analyses. With the comprehensive research of taxonomy and phylogeny of Tyromyces and Ceriporiopsis, many problems were arised. Therefore, it is important to know the species diversity and relationships among these taxa. (2020-1-10)

Phlebia Fr. (Meruliaceae, Polyporales) was erected by Fries (1821), typified with P. radiata Fr., which is a large, cosmopolitan genus characterized by a combination of resupinate or pileate basidiocarps with a subceraceous to subgelatinous consistency when fresh, membranaceous to coriaceous when dry, hymenophore smooth, tuberculate, phlebioid, odontioid, merulioid or poroid, a monomitic hyphal structure (rare dimitic) with clamp connections or simple-septate, narrowly clavate basidia and basidiospores hyaline, thin-walled, smooth, allantoid to ellipsoid, (2020-1-10)
